I stayed at the budget hotel for a few nights during the summer. The private washing facilities were a plus, and the beds were comfortable. The single rooms were clean, small, and cozy. The hotel is ideally situated with an excellent quality-price ratio. The whole floor was always quiet during my stay, and the staff was friendly. Some upper floor rooms even had an ocean view. The room size exceeded my expectations and room service was top-notch. The wifi was high speed and the showers had great pressure. The gentleman at check-in was extremely helpful, and having my own bathroom was a bonus.

I had a fantastic stay in this hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and provided excellent service, even answering all my questions prior to my arrival. They were also kind enough to allow me to check in early when I arrived ahead of schedule. The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the center of town and within walking distance of many attractions such as the waterfront, TePapa, and the botanic garden. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel had basic but adequate facilities. I also appreciated the parking options available, with parking spaces located right outside the front door. I was very happy with my stay and would recommend this hotel to others on a budget.

I gotta say, for the price I paid, I was pleasantly surprised by the value I got at this place. The room was comfy and clean, with large windows that gave it a nice airy vibe. The staff were friendly and actually listened when we mentioned something about the air conditioning in the kitchen being too cold, they adjusted it right away. Plus, the location was spot on, right in the downtown area and super convenient for exploring the city. Definitely would come back.

Now, I do have one little suggestion to make the morning meal even better. It would be great if they could add a few more options for breakfast, maybe some more variety in terms of food choices.
